Swish, by Suzanne Slade, tells about the Harlem Globetrotters and how they started. The Globetrotters is a basketball team full of black players. When the NBA originally started there was just white players so the Harlem Globetrotters made their own team for black players. Eventually the Harlem Globetrotters were one of the best teams in the nation. Later, the Globetrotters played the best team in the NBA and won. The Harlem Globetrotters helped everyone realized that black people aren't much different than white people I like this book because the Harlem Globetrotters are one of my favorite basketball teams. I also learned a lot about the Globetrotter history and how they became a team. When I was reading I learned a lot of new things about basketball. I appreciate reading a shorter book.
